According to the forestry department food and agriculture organisation about half of the world's tropical forests have been either destroyed or degraded. The tropical forests also hold over half of the world's animal species. So if half of these forests are destroyed or changed that means that we have really affected the animals. If we do the math that means 1/4 of all animal species have been affected just with deforestation. Deforestation that people have caused.
If people have read this and want to help there are many ways to do so. People can donate money to eco friendly companies or anti deforestation organisations. People can sign petitions to help slow deforestation. People can do things by themselves like plant trees. People can also work with their communities to plant entire forests or gardens.
People also can do Small things to help if you aren't the type to do these bigger things. If anybody wants to help you can by doing little things like reusing paper. Another small thing people can do is to order things with less packaging. Knowing about deforestation is also a big part. Knowledged is half the battle as some guy I can’t think has said before.
This blog post has been more focused on how someone can help. Along with reading the info people can learn how to help out with the problem. I have seen many websites about the information and the stats, but few have had info on how to help. If you read these blogs about world problems then they should have somewhere something about how to help. Mine might not have that much info on the topic, but some is still better than none.
